Warranty Policy
At SeaGods Wetsuit, we stand behind the quality of our custom wetsuits. Our warranty policy covers manufacturing defects and ensures your gear performs as intended.
Who is Covered?
Our warranty applies only to custom wetsuits, not to ready-to-wear products.
Warranty Duration
- Professional Use (Dive Instructors, Commercial Divers): 6 months
- Non-Professional Use (Recreational): 1 year
What’s Covered?
- Manufacturing defects such as:
- Stitching or seam failure
- Material flaws
- Factory-related damage
If the issue is determined to be a factory defect, repairs will be done free of charge within the warranty period.
What’s Not Covered?
- Any damage due to:
- Regular wear and tear
- Improper care or washing
- Accidents or misuse
- Exposure to chemicals, sharp objects, or rough surfaces
- Damage during return shipping
- Wetsuits that show visible signs of extended use
- Any alteration or repair performed outside of SeaGods’ facility
All products are shipped in new condition. SeaGods is not responsible for shipping-related damage.
How to Make a Warranty Claim
To request a warranty claim:
- Email us at info@seagodswetsuit.com
- include
- Photos of the damaged area
- Description of the issue
- Proof of purchase (order ID or receipt)
If the damage is confirmed as a manufacturing defect, SeaGods will cover the shipping cost for repair. Otherwise, repair costs and shipping are the responsibility of the customer.
Repairs or replacements will be determined on a case-by-case basis in agreement with the customer.
Product Care Instructions
Proper care extends the life of your wetsuit and rash guard. Please follow these care tips to keep your gear in optimal condition:
Washing Guidelines
- Hand wash only
- Use cold water and mild/soft soap
- Do not machine wash or dry
- Rinse thoroughly after every use to remove salt, chlorine, and sand
Drying & Storage
- Do not dry under direct sunlight — dry in shade only
- Hang to dry using a thick hanger
- Do not fold or leave crumpled
- Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture
What to Avoid
- Avoid contact with rough surfaces
- Do not apply oils, lotions, or sunscreen before wearing
- Avoid stretching or yanking on panels and zippers
Tips for Longevity
- Rinse after every use
- Never leave your wetsuit wet in a bag for long periods
- Follow all care guidelines strictly
- If properly maintained, your SeaGods wetsuit will serve you well for years
